Our Story

Gezawa Commodity Market Exchange Ltd. (GCMX) is a licensed commodities exchange by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), established to transform commodity trading in Nigeria and West Africa. Located in Gezawa Town, Kano State, GCMX provides an integrated ecosystem combining OTC trading, a digital Spot Market, warehousing with e-warehouse receipts, commodities cleaning and grading, laboratory testing, and Domestic Export Warehouse (DEW) services. The Exchange facilitates transparent price discovery, efficient settlement, and secure transactions in both soft commodities (grains, legumes, etc.) and hard commodities (solid minerals).

Through its strategic initiatives, GCMX empowers farmers, traders, processors, and exporters by connecting them to markets, reducing inefficiencies in commodity supply chains, and enabling access to financing through trade documentation and receipts.

Our Mission

To provide a transparent, efficient, and secure commodities trading platform that empowers market participants, promotes fair pricing, and drives inclusive economic growth in Nigeria and beyond.

Our Vision

To be Africa’s leading hub for commodities trading, logistics, and export facilitation, recognized for integrity, innovation, and sustainable impact on value chains.
